Book Signing

A few weeks ago, the author of one of my favorite food blogs was in Chicago signing copies of her new cookbook.  I went with two friends.  We had no idea how crowded it would be.  We waited in line for awhile and then waited even longer (at the bar next door) for our names to be called in to meet the author.  Despite all the waiting, it ended up being a really fun day!

It was a nice (but cool) fall weekend in Madison.  We took a walk around the neighborhood and out to Picnic Point.
